Holly Jolly Crafts for Kids

Visit the Oshawa Libraries - Jess Hann Branch (199 Wentworth St. W) to craft your own hanging lantern to brighten cozy winter evenings, complete with a provided tea light. Registration is required as space is limited, so don’t miss this opportunity to create something special!

The Professors of Funk Friends and Family Special

The Professors of Funk Friends & Family Christmas Special is back! Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. on both nights. Established in 2014, this annual concert for the Back Door Mission has become one of Oshawa and Durham’s most cherished holiday traditions, and this year promises another unforgettable experience. The Professors of Funk, a dynamic 9-piece ensemble celebrated as one of the premier musical groups in the region, return to the historic Simcoe Street United Church, built in 1867, alongside talented guest performers for a show that continues to shine as a holiday highlight. New this year, you can add a poinsettia to your ticket purchase to help decorate the sanctuary and take it home after the show!

The Professors of Funk Friends & Family Christmas Special is back! Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. on both nights. This festive afternoon will feature incredible live performances by talented local musicians, all coming together to spread holiday cheer while raising funds and awareness for an important cause. Enjoy the cozy atmosphere of KOPs Records, browse their unique collections, and soak in the sounds of the season as the community gathers to give back.
